Over the details is a photography book. All of the photos were taken at midnight in Brooklyn. Sunlight and moonlight are like filters of the environment, but people become more sensitive at night, whether visually, physically or psychologically. The symptoms of small details on the streets at night can propose a more significant question of people’s perception are keep shifting. By bleaching the film negative, which distorts the original photos and gets illusory images. In this process, bleaching is the action to manipulate our perception. Through this process, I want to propose a bigger question of how visual language shapes the way we think, and how accurate are our perceptions?
